Meet cat

Hi! I’m Cat! I’m an experienced Aussie Primary Teacher with 10 years of teaching under my belt. 

Over the years I've dabbled in a little bit of everything. I have experience across P-6 as a Classroom Teacher, CRT and as a Technology Specialist. Post covid I helped set up and run a tutor learning initiative. 

My most memorable teaching time was when I lived and taught in London for a year and a half (I certainly didn't mind the trips across Europe either!). I taught students ranging from Nursery to Year 6, and held positions as a Year 2 teacher and as a Year 6 intervention and extension teacher. 

Through mentoring student teachers over the years I developed a passion for helping people succeed in their careers. My aim with Mrs D's Bumblebees is to do just that!

When I’m not creating resources or working, I enjoy reading, spending time with loved ones, going on adventures, playing board games, doing puzzles, and writing my children’s novel.
